My first personal painting in a while! It feels good to directly share more of the aspects of inflation I enjoy. I'm a sucker for inflatable suits both in art and real life, and the Star Fox crew's needed a place in my gallery.

Fox and Falco entered the briefing room, as scheduled, with the new combat suits that Slippy had just designed. They were strikingly baggy, and made a quiet noise with each step comparable to a tarp cover.
“What’s with this fabric?” Falco exclaimed, ”I don’t see how this bagginess could help us.”
Slippy calmly explained, “It will help you settle into the cockpits better, while helping us gather better data on your performance during flights.” Peppy was tending to his own business further in the back, just within earshot of the conversation. There seemed to be a prior awareness of the suits from the wise rabbit, giving the pilots more confidence in Slippy’s odd design choices. The toad instructed them to stand before him in the room’s small clearing in the centre.
Fox and Falco stood awkwardly, still unsure as to what the suits were even supposed to be for. Slippy asks, “Test the communicators; the left button on your chest.”
“That’s a strange place to put it, but if you insist,” Fox commented.
Impatiently, Falco had already pressed it squawking “Testing? Is this even worki-“ The suit rapidly began to fill with air, starting from the chest and then into the pants. “Hey hey HEY H-“ Limbs filling out, crotch dropping, wrists and ankles swelling, and the body eventually catching up to complete the spherical shape and sinking his mouth in. Within a matter of 3.8 seconds, Falco’s elongated silhouette became an overinflated and helpless blimp.
Slippy smiled, continued reading his documents. “Try talking into it again,” he suggested without looking up. Peppy jumped back, and dropped his glasses, breaking them in the process.
Fox stood back in awe of the size, and shock of what did not happen to him. However, somewhere in his mind, a desire to sneak away with it for his own purposes persisted, and he began to think of how he could keep it privately without his peers’ knowledge.
