I swear this is the last half-arsed background (of random lyric snippets too... yuck), I'm going to attempt some complete art pieces next with a simpler soft cel-shading style. I seem to have gotten all excited with harsh, shiney tones again on this one even though I was experimenting with the SAI marker tool *facepalms*
