That poor poor Crosshair! ^^
I recently got caught by the Moorhuhn fever, and bought the 10 year Anniversary Collection (21 Games on one DVD).
Moorhuhn aka Crazy Chicken (in England) is a Franchise, probably one of the most well known German Video Game Franchises. It started out in 1999 as a freeware game that was made in order to promote the Whisky "Johnny Walker" here in germany.
However, the game took off like a rocket, people everywhere were playing it and comparin their scores, it was HUGE hit, tons of merchandise and sequels followed.
The Goal of the game was and still is painfully easy, shoot as many chickens on a sidescrolling field (you scroll by using the mouse or the left and right keys on your keyboard) in 90 seconds. Thats it.
The Franchise has, when you look at the shooter sequels, remained faithful and well handled. However the Spinoffs like Platformers (wich are actually pretty good) and especially the Kart Racing Games weren´t always up there in terms of Quality!
Personally, I recommend everyone who got interested in the game to google "Moorhuhn Remake". Its free, its fun, and it runs on Windows 7 aswell.
