Actually I've got a hair appointment Saturday, I'm getting my purple mohawk back :3

Mine is like....Teal-green (miserably faded blue) right now :P....thanks to Kappy's hair advice...it will be a nice blue again come the weekend :D

Unless you're in my situation, where you've done SO much with it, your hair is completely fried. My hair will break off when I comb it.

I'm too worried about something happening to it and having to spend another 4 years growing it back out.

I miss my blue and purple skunk hair. I used to have blue on both sides with a dark purple stripe down the center. Got off the plane in seattle and everyone thought I was a Huskies fan! hahaha.

after that my hair sun faded to grey-ish white. very Sting.

now its just boring brown... meh.

I dyed my hair black and blonde after I realized I HAD to give my hair a break.

Im going to sound so laaaame, but what was the shade of red you used to have in your hair? Ive been dying (no pun intended! OH!) to get my hair coloured with that red, but I dont know exactly what it is...

Well I have dark brown hair, and Im never able to colour over it successfully *lol* Vampire Red is what Im looking for exactly! I dont know what to do though, I guess colour part of it, because I dont want it all red. I really suck with hair, I dont do anything to mine *lol*

I'd love to know if you did it yourself what kinda stuff you used... I want to get my purple bangs and streaks back, but don't want to spend it in a salon if I don't have to.

I do it myself most of the time.

Since you said you want your purple bangs BACK.. Assuming you know if your hair is too dark you need to bleach it.

I dont know how dark it is, so I cant tell you what volume to use...

But purple.. My favorite brand of dye to use is <a href="http://www.manicpanic.com/">Manic Panic</a>

I've used Purple Haze (as far as purple's go) and It works wonderfully. If you want the purple to stay in a long time, apply it to your bleached hair and <B>KEEP IT IN YOUR HAIR FOR LONGER THAN AN HOUR</B>.

I usually keep my dye in for at least 5 hours (Manic Panic and Punky! Dye is a vegetable based dye, so it won't harm your hair) and keep a shower cap on to keep it from drying it.

It keeps the colour in for longer than a month, at least!

I used Manic Panic aswell, but I used Ultra Violet. It worked fairly well, and I let it sit in my hair for about 5-10 minutes then rinsed, and it lasted a good while (as long as I didn't shampoo or condition when showering). I guess after bleaching my hair (which is indeed a dark brown, dyed black atm) I should apply MP, then wait 5 hours?? (Manic Panic Ultra Violet... live fast and dye your hair). If I'm using the wrong stuff, lemme know.
