Considered a beacon of accuracy in a world of inaccuracies, urYod kept the track of time by moving stones on strings in his Abacus. He was always lost in his calculations, whose meaning were lost to him until these were completed. Always the meticulous time keeper, he strove to summarize his findings to share it with his comrades. When Jen was adopted, he taught him how to use the Octonary Abacus. When urSu died, he participated in the funeral proceedings by ringing a bell.

Afterwards & hearing the Crystal's call, he marched with the others back to the Castle to rejoin with his other half, & as the urSkek ShodYod, left Thra & its Crystal to the care of Jen and Kira. One Hundred Thrine later, he split again when the Crystal was cracked by the fireling Thurma, during the events of Power of the Dark Crystal, but his new Division lasted a few days before been rejoined once more & left Thra for good with Jen, Kira & Fizzgig.
