DezTheSalandit who got me really into the wings of fire series. (available as audibooks on spotify read them pls)
he pestered and pestered until I picked them up, and now i've read 6 of them and ahhhhhhhhhhhhh. I really like them. But naturally, I had to get my revenge for the pestering.

Just when things became their most dire, Dell found the strength to lift himself, and the wagon into the air, whereas Dez could only flap to keep himself stationary. Dez's wings were comparatively tiny towards the nightwing besides him... Nightwings in the sand kingdom where certainly an odd sight... and so were salandits.
Good thing there were no pokemon to be found though. only a pair of dragons from different tribes, and a scattering of toys on the desert sands.
