I have been having a hard time lately. Mentally - I just am not all there. As if I ever am.
I haven't been able to produce any solid work with my regular pen and started dicking around with my loose line brushes.
As practice for it, I made this design - but then I really became attached to the little bastard.

Riks is a slimy, gooey cretin of a pokemon.
Extending beyond his appearance, he also has a bit of a slimy personality.
He has a constant hunger for everything - but especially gems and jewels.
Its best to stay far, far away from him unless you plan on making some kind of offer he can't resist.
He's sneaky and tends to play pranks and tricks on the unsuspecting - or worse - if he can get away with it.

He lost his eye and its functions a long time ago when tangling with a tough Pokemon that happened to owe him a debt.
He makes it clear that he got his money back although never expressed how.

He works with his partner Kaliks (https://www.furaffinity.net/view/41997936/) whom tries to keep him in line for the most part.
Its a tough business.
