I made this piece because these are two really facinating characters from Greek Mythology who could always use a bit more love, and I kind of felt like running with the twist of Medusa being turned into a Gorgon as a form of protection against the unwanted advances of Men, rather than a curse from a jealous goddess for flirting with Poseidon in Athena's temple. (Because yeah there's definitely no skewed power dynamic there.... *cough*
