In the vast oceans of the New World, the second half of the Grand Line, there's a kingdom where the legendary water-dwelling human-like beings; mermen, and even mermaids live, Atlantis.
Atlantis was the lost continent, but it is now the new kingdom for all mermen and mermaids
Many years ago, the mermen and the mermaids saved the humans from drowning or shark attacks, even though they are a different species.
However, the merfolk can't live on land because they have evolved to live in the ocean, and no one knows how the land dwellers lived above the seas.
Until one day, when one of the mermaids is granted the power to soar across the skies and gaze at the landscape of mankind.
Beneath the ocean, a young beautiful smelt-whiting mermaid with long, bright blue hair, a slim torso and waist, huge breasts covered by a spotted blue bra, and a blue tailfin, Aqua swam across the oceans and swam alongside with fishes and whales. And she’s now 20 years old.
Then she swam to the surface and looked at the sky.
It's midnight, while the sky is covered by lots of stars and of course a full moon.
Aqua can’t imagine how it feels when she soars above the sea of clouds and sees what’s up there.
Then suddenly, behind her, a young mermaid who looks quite similar to her older sibling, except for the fact that she has short, light blue hair with a star on the left side of her hair and a much smaller body frame than Aqua, and she’s 17 years old.
Her name is Starry, and she resurfaces behind her older sister.
“There you are, Aqua!” Starry called. “Did you come up here for moon gazing again?”
“Yes, I just can’t help it, Starry.” Aqua giggled, and then sighed. "I wish I could fly into the sky, then maybe I could see what kind of land the humans live in."
“Yeah? Are you gonna call the giant seagulls to take a tour above the clouds?” Starry retorted sarcastically.
“Well, I can’t. Besides, I don’t have any ability to make me fly.” Aqua said remorseful.
Starry puts her hand on her older sibling’s shoulder to comfort her.
“Don’t worry, big sister. I am sure one of these days you can make your wish come true.” Starry said as Aqua turned her head softly at her younger sister and smiled at her.
“Thanks, Starry.” Aqua said.
And so both young mermaids are diving underwater and are heading back home to Atlantis. Then suddenly, Aqua saw a sparkling light from the bottom.
“What’s wrong, Aqua?” Starry asked.
“I think I saw a sparkling light from the bottom.” Aqua said as she swims into the direction where the light is and Starry’s swimming after her.
Once they’re getting closer, Aqua and Starry saw a blue pearl on the seafloor. It shines beautifully and reflects their eyes.
“Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Have you ever seen anything so wonderful in your entire life?” Aqua squealed in delight and grabbed the pearl.
“Wow, cool! But, it’s just a pearl, right?” Starry asked as Aqua’s distracted by the beauty of the blue pearl.
“I don’t know, Starry. But I'm going to take this pearl to my collection in my room." Aqua said as Starry saw the pearl was glowing cyan.
“W-What on Earth?! It’s floating.” Starry gasped surprised as the pearl floated slowly towards Aqua’s bra and got stuck on it.
"My gosh! The pearl’s attached to my bra!" Aqua said, amazed as she tried to pull the pearl out of her bra. "Oh no. It's stuck.”
“I just don't understand this. Is this pearl possessed by a ghost?” Starry wondered.
“I don’t know, Starry.” Aqua replied as she’s looking at the pearl that fits in her bra. “But, it really fits on my bra. Not bad, hm?”
“Nope. But why did this pearl choose you?” Starry asks as the pearl glows cyan again, and it makes Aqua's body glows cyan, too. Then Aqua feels so dizzy.
“Aqua! Are you okay?” Starry asked worriedly as she put her hands on Aqua’s shoulders.
"I don't know, but oh... I think I feel so dizzy…” Aqua said.
“I told you that you should have slept earlier instead of staying awake the whole night." Starry said.
“It wasn’t me, Starry. It was this pearl.” Aqua said as she felt a new, strange sensation overtaking her and placing her hand onto her breasts.
“Aqua? What's wrong?” Starry asked worriedly.
"Ugh, I don't know, but I felt weird in my chest." Aqua groaned as suddenly she felt her breasts start to grow slowly, and she and Starry became shocked. “What the-?!” She gasped.
“Aqua…! Your breasts…! They are-” Starry stammered surprised.
“They are growing?!" She said as Starry touched them, and they bounced. They were feeling light as a feather, which made her feel weird. This resulted in Aqua’s face to be reddened by this sensation.
“Sorry, sis. But your breasts felt so weightless.” Starry apologized.
“Yeah, I can feel them. They feel so light. This feels so weird." Aqua said as her belly started to inflate slowly, but then her tail started to inflate too. "Oh, my, now what!?" she peeped, feeling a sudden change below her chest and tail. She puts her hands on her belly and touches carefully.

“My gosh, Aqua. Your belly is so soft.” Starry said as she hugged her elder sibling’s inflating belly.
“Thanks, Starry. I don’t know if this pearl did this to me. But for some reason… It feels so good.” Aqua said as she hugged her big belly.
And then when her belly looks like she's 8-9 months pregnant with 5 babies, she feels her body getting lighter.
"Hey, I’ve suddenly felt full. But, yet I also feel light. Like I weigh nothing.” Aqua said as she started to ascend slowly towards the surface as her whole torso grew, rounded out, and became as big as 2 meters in diameter.
“Aqua…! You’re floating away!” Starry gasped in shock.
"Starry! Do something!" Aqua shouted as she flailed her bloated arms. Starry grabbed her hand and tried to pull her down, but it was futile.
“Ugh! I can’t pull you down! You’re too light! We’re heading to the surface!” Starry said as Aqua floats slowly to the surface.
While Aqua’s slowly inflating, both mermaid sisters resurface from the ocean as Aqua's belly floats on the water.
"Oh, no...!" Aqua whimpered nervously. "I'm at the surface now! And I am still blowing up like a pufferfish!"
“Well, look on the bright side, none of the humans could see you like this." Starry said.
But it’s getting worse; as Aqua's still inflating, she couldn't feel the water on her stomach anymore.
"Hey, hang on. Why can't I feel the water anymore?" Aqua asked and looked down at the ocean, and she gasped horrified; she's floating away from the ocean and ascending into the air while Starry hangs on, holding her hand for as long as she can.
"Woah! I'm flying, I'm flying! Help! Put me down!" Aqua yelps and flaps her arms while her ballooned body grows rounder, becoming 4 meters in diameter as she's floating amongst the clouds. Starry climbs up to the top of her sister’s torso.
“Starry! Don’t fall off!” Aqua shouted worriedly.
“I wouldn’t!” Starry said as she tried to push Aqua’s body to release the air from her mouth, but it didn’t work. “I’ve tried to push the air out, but it doesn’t work!”
“Oh, no…!” Aqua said as she’s now very scared. “What if I am gonna... pop?”
Suddenly, a mysterious sound echoes in Aqua’s head. It sounds like a beautiful chime sound that reverbs through her body. It somehow tells her that she’s not gonna pop.
“You’re gonna what?! Pop?! There must be a way to deflate you back.” Starry shouted worriedly.
“It speaks to me.” Aqua said as Starry’s eyes popped by surprise.
“Wait, what?” Starry questioned surprised.
“The pearl, it… it speaks to me.” Aqua said. “It says… I can’t pop, because my pearl makes my body expand to any size from a whale to a planet.”
“Aqua, that is the most absurd, ridiculous, nonsensical--!” Starry scolded.
“Starry, it’s true. This pearl somehow has its own soul to speak telepathy.” Aqua explained as Starry gasped in shock at her revealing the pearl can speak telepathy.
“You’re not kidding at all, sister.” Starry said as Aqua’s body is now 6 meters as she’s stopped inflating.
“Hey, you stopped inflating.” Starry said.
Aqua moves her bloated arms, and they’re not stiff.
“My arms…! I can move them even if they're bloated.” Aqua said as she started to smile broadly. “You know, maybe being a balloon is not a bad idea after all.”
“You think?” Starry asked.
“Yeah, it really makes me fly thanks to this pearl. It fills me with some kind of magical air.” Aqua explained.
“So this is the magical pearl that can fill you with some kind of magical air so it can make you inflate bigger and lighter than a… uhm… what’s the word again?” Starry said.
“Let’s just call it weightless.” Aqua giggled as the wind pushed her as she's floating toward the land.
Aqua and Starry were stunned after she saw lots of islands where the humans lived; the vast area with forest, villages, high mountains, the green grass plains with lakes.
"Amazing... So this is where the humans lived on the land. What an amazing sight." Aqua said as Starry wondered.
“I wonder what name we shall call this pearl, big sister.” Starry wondered as Aqua was about to ask the same thing.
“Actually, I was thinking the same thing, Starry. You’re right; it really needs a name.” Aqua said as she tries to focus on the pearl which makes a chime sound that reverbs through her head and tells her its name.
“I think… the pearl called itself… 'Blimp Pearl.'” Aqua said.
“Blimp Pearl? Oh, did you talk to that pearl in telepathy again?” Starry asked.
“Yup. That’s what it's called. The Blimp Pearl.” Aqua said.
“I must admit, that name sounds so very blimpy, but catchy.” Starry said as the chime noise sounded quietly in Aqua’s head.
It speaks telepathy to Aqua about how she can inflate bigger than this size which makes her gasp slightly.
“Something wrong?” Starry asked.
“I think the pearl said that I can inflate bigger than this.” Aqua said.
“Wait… you mean you want to grow bigger than this form?!” Starry questioned in surprise.
“Well, yeah. And it tells me that I can control the Inflation Power with my own will as long as I wear this pearl. And perhaps I can float above the clouds while I’m at it.” Aqua said.
“Sounds fun. Go for it, big sister!” Starry encourages her sister who nods.
To control the power properly, she closes her eyes and focuses her pearl’s powers and her body starts to expand larger, including her bloated tail.
“Here we go again.” Starry said as she tried to hold on to her sister’s bulging back while Aqua slowly floated upwards into the clouds.
Minutes later, after Aqua’s stopped inflating into the size of 15 meters blimp, they’re floating above the sea of clouds while the full moon shone its beautiful light upon them.
It’s so magical to witness their sights while they open their mouths in amazement. It feels like Aqua’s dream has come true.
Aqua sniffs while the tears fill her eyes, yet she’s smiling.
“Are you okay, Aqua? Why are you crying?” Starry asked worriedly while Aqua wiped her eyes with her hands.
“Yeah, sorry. I am just so happy. It’s just… My dream finally came true. This pearl really fulfills my dreams to not only see the land where the humans live, but also to fly up and feel what’s up here above the clouds, witnessing the full moon which shines on us as well as the clouds.” Aqua said as she started to calm down after drying her tears from eyes.
“That is great, Aqua. I’m happy that your dream has come true.” Starry smiled as Aqua nodded.
And so both mermaid sisters keep floating above the clouds while they’re gazing at the moon.
One hour later, after they realize it’s getting late at night, Aqua decides to deflate back to normal.
“Well, I guess it’s time to go back to the ocean.” Aqua said as Starry nodded.
“Hey, wait a minute! If you’re deflated with a full blast, are you gonna whoosh around like an untied party balloon?” Starry asked.
“Okay, then I shall deflate carefully with my near-closed lips.” Aqua said as the long-haired mermaid closed her eyes to focus her pearl’s energy and then she carefully released the air from her lips, just in case not to fly around like a party balloon.
As Aqua slowly deflates, her body starts to shrink while slowly floating down to the ocean.
Starry carefully slides down the side of Aqua’s ballooned body and grabs her hand while Aqua keeps deflating while slowly floating. Her body is now at 10 meter in diameter as she safely lands on the ocean surface while Starry dives underwater.
After a few minutes, Aqua’s body deflates to become 6 meters in diameter. She then finally releases the air with a full blast, resulting in her flying around in midair. She then dives underwater as well. And after 30 seconds she’s deflating back to her normal shape.
Starry watched as her sister deflated like an untied party balloon. She was worried that Aqua may be hurt, so she swam towards her elder sister.
“Are you okay, Aqua?” Starry asked worriedly as Aqua laughed.
“That was pretty fun. It was a blast of deflation, though I could not control where I was flying.” Aqua said as she looked at the pearl and smiled. "Well, at least this pearl could be useful for my journeys around the world.”
“Yeah, if only I can find another Blimp Pearl somewhere in the New World.” Starry said.
“Yeah, I guess you need to wait. In four months it’s your 18th birthday. And then you’ll get the new Blimp Pearl and you can fly with me.” Aqua said.
“And then we can explore in our adventures, you and me!” Starry said as she raised her fist in determination as Aqua smiled and patted her head gently.
“Come on, little sis. Let’s go home.” Aqua said as Starry nodded as they swam back to Atlantis to sleep.
And maybe someday, Aqua will inflate again with the Blimp Pearl that holds the magical power to inflate her to explore the whole world while floating above the sea of clouds.

“Okay, then I shall deflate carefully with my near-closed lips.” Aqua said as the long-haired mermaid closed her eyes to focus her pearl’s energy and then she carefully released the air from her lips, just in case not to fly around like a party balloon.
As Aqua slowly deflates, her body starts to shrink while slowly floating down to the ocean.
Starry carefully slides down the side of Aqua’s ballooned body and grabs her hand while Aqua keeps deflating while slowly floating. Her body is now at 10 meter in diameter as she safely lands on the ocean surface while Starry dives underwater.
After a few minutes, Aqua’s body deflates to become 6 meters in diameter. She then finally releases the air with a full blast, resulting in her flying around in midair. She then dives underwater as well. And after 30 seconds she’s deflating back to her normal shape.
Starry watched as her sister deflated like an untied party balloon. She was worried that Aqua may be hurt, so she swam towards her elder sister.
“Are you okay, Aqua?” Starry asked worriedly as Aqua laughed.
“That was pretty fun. It was a blast of deflation, though I could not control where I was flying.” Aqua said as she looked at the pearl and smiled. "Well, at least this pearl could be useful for my journeys around the world.”
“Yeah, if only I can find another Blimp Pearl somewhere in the New World.” Starry said.
“Yeah, I guess you need to wait. In four months it’s your 18th birthday. And then you’ll get the new Blimp Pearl and you can fly with me.” Aqua said.
“And then we can explore in our adventures, you and me!” Starry said as she raised her fist in determination as Aqua smiled and patted her head gently.
“Come on, little sis. Let’s go home.” Aqua said as Starry nodded as they swam back to Atlantis to sleep.
And maybe someday, Aqua will inflate again with the Blimp Pearl that holds the magical power to inflate her to explore the whole world while floating above the sea of clouds.
