Commissioned in September 2018, my fifth OC (Conceptually. Didn't get art for him for a while).
Tobias Azara (Last name based on Azar, which means fire in Persian)
Age: 21
Height: 5' 0"
Likes: Justice, being helpful, solving mysteries
Dislikes: His height being mentioned, games of luck, his parents
Ability: Justified
Father Species: Absol
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Tobias is a kind Arcanine who pretty much acts as a Vigilante. He's a very skilled tracker, able to find things by scent very easily, and very eager to lend a hand to those in need no matter what needs to be done. He also has a knack for finding himself in dangerous situations. He believes it to be partially bad luck from having an Absol father, but it's actually his inability to properly utilize the disaster sensing abilities that he's inherited from them. Tobias ran away from his parents years ago, after discovering that they were committing numerous criminal deeds, and that the luxurious life he had as a Growlithe was funded by others' woe and misfortune. When he left home, he stole back as much a he could carry, including a fire stone from his parent's hoard of items. Though since he used the stone not long afterwards, and only as a teenager, he stunted his growth, and now having grown the most that he will, is considered rather small for his species.
Moveset:
Extreme Speed / Flamethrower / Will-O-Wisp / Odor Sleuth
Tobias isn't very good at fighting, but he's very agile, further helped by his lithe body. He's more likely to run away from a fight than battle on his own. Doesn't stop him from running face first into trouble though. His design has changed a bit the more he's drawn, but he always has some Growlithe traits despite being an Arcanine as a result of his evolution circumstances (like his belly fur being cream coloured instead of black). He's also always very fluffy~
