The grease/oil (?) from the eye sockets as tears and the staggered pose really set the mood, with the plant growth conveying how long it's been… Sad, but in a wonderful way.

The highlights and shading are so good, i thought it was a picture!

Cool layers and contrast too - the green flora in the front, the red butterflies in the middle, and the grey wires in the back
