Even after a few hours walking upon the Earth - your paws will get dirty. Emily cannot resist the temptation of licking up the nutrition powdered upon her supple pads.

I have constructed several city and rubble brushes in Clip Studio Paint.
I try to 'map out' cities with small patches of tall buildings and lots of area for smaller buildings. I use noise brushes for roads and lightly dense areas. Studying how a city is set up by looking at photographs and maps can help put into perspective on how many metropolises work. It's usually never an endless field of tall high-rises, but mostly smaller buildings with a small patch of tall towers in the middle, surrounded by miles of suburb. Most cities have a river or coast of some kind cutting through the heart of it or along it. I tend to throw one in to break up the monotony and noise - but its tedious to add a river or coast and make it look right + the bridges.
For paws, I try to put rubble and debris in areas that will have a harder time brushing off, like between toes, crevices, folds, wrinkles, joints, fur, dried sweat, ect. Having debris around the edges of pads or around the edge of a sole works well too, especially caked between the skin and fur. It also has the added benefit of bringing out some definition to the overall paw/foot. I hope this helps. ^^

Thanks it does! you gave me more info than expected. admittedly I do some of the same, however I do not have brushes to make such things easier. so I always ended up just hand drawing super simple boxes with some being slightly different. then adding flat color with crosshatching lines to imply streets and suburbs.
This is perhaps one of the best descriptions of topology rendering I've ever seen - you continue to be an inspiration and a genius continental crusher, my friend. Absolutely LOVE how much effort you put into these studies/practices and I've definitely learned quite a bit from you over the years :D
