That is the result of a solid brush at 70% opacity. I was extremely surprised by how well it worked- I usually use the brush with the soft edges to paint. The most difficult part of this was choosing the base colors. Everything looks weird in low lighting, and I didn't want to use my normal color swatches as a starting point.... but the end result looks about how I wanted it.
