I just wanted to put up a closer look at teh beads Shierna wears, to show off the detail work  Iskra put into the first piece I commissioned of her. The beads are modeled after "millifiore" glass beads, which are made from glass canes. The canes are assembled like cane candy, by laying out a pattern of colored glass chunks, then heating them and drawing them out. The resulting canes are then broken into pieces with the pattern intact, though smaller from having been stretched out. They're heated again, punctured and rolled into the shape of the bead.  Iskra captured them perfectly here. Combined with the intricate detail of Shierna's braids, there is a TON of pain-staking work put into the Striped Huntress piece.
