'Soon the season of spring must end and a world of hot winds and plentiful fruits must take it's place. Shade will grow cool as the sun's light grows stronger. Uncertain fruits will sweeten, their juices tart but tasteful as they are picked from the stem or stalk. Sunflowers and corn will reach for the ever blue skies and the waters of rivers and oceans will offer the lucky with sanctuary when the heat grows too strong.
Run through wild growing trees without cares, hooves sprinting over the kraaled roots and mossy stones, down worn earth paths that veins through the woods as she feels the changing breezes dance through her hair, the pure hem of her dress clinging to her thighs like a lover's grasp. Spring might flee this world, it's job of rebirth complete as we grow older, but it will never truly leave all things near and deer. It too ages like summer wine.'
Decided to write something about the changing of spring to summer as I'm really feel it where I live.
I just ADORE this piece! It's so magical and it makes me think of Sleeping Beauty and it makes me want more! I've been dying to get something with her alternate hair style, and I'm slowly fearing I might stick with it cause it suits her so well! But probably not. I'll need to edit my ref to include it instead of in the bio.
