This is something I wanted to do for a while. I found a free version of a slideshow maker on the Giveaway of the Day website so I decided to slap one together. I took the 700th watcher gift pic I did for
neyaraxis and cobbled up a progression from my initial sketch all the way to the final product.
I hope the series of pics will help someone, at least be somewhat interesting. I don't have the best techniques but I am getting it down. If any of you have any questions, feel free to ask away.
The program I got seems to work well. I wish the free templates a bit more flexible. And I wish there was a way to add annotations and comments to each picture. Maybe I'll find something that does that later. Right now, this one have to do. The price is right so I am happy with it.
BTW, I originally did my sketch in blue. I changed it to black and used a copy of it along with the smear tool as the basis of my first shade layer. I ended up with a couple of dozen layers (some drawings I go well over a hundred) by the end. I find it makes fixing my mista... editing a lot easier that way. It eats memory but my 9 gig Quadcore I got this year is up to the job though it cam still lag on my detailed works.

Congrats, you get a cookie... and a free drawing like the one illustrated above. *throws confetti in the air and sets off fireworks.*
Yeah, I usually get low numbers of comments but a total lack of them is weird, especially on such a tame drawing. I done some very extreme stuff and a few people that are not too afraid would post though I normally have tons of views (hundreds and even over a thousand at times). Those I kinda understand but my clean stuff just don't get much attention.
Oh well, give me a few references and I see what I pop out. Thanks for being the first (and probably only) one to comment.

I don't get much in comments for my art of writing myself either ^^' then again I never really get many myself so can't really explain why nobody would comment exactly. (then again i never get more then maybe 100 views on anything, and this site has not reached that mark on any of my stuff I think)
Hm, not sure if my epic commenting skills (of ten words) is worthy of your skill but if your offering awesome
(details+rambling)
Hm, I have been meaning to get more images of the fersona of mine (so awesome for the offer), I got one person to draw it before, (posted here) http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4065421/ (the markings glow and the other arm is the same but without the wrappings)
All the colors used are his own and all that, do with it what you will (as long as it is in the PG to PG-13 range)
And again thank you for the offer. :D

My big wish is that this series of drawing would help someone in their efforts. I wanted to show how I go through the steps from the beginning to the end. Not sure if I was successful in doing that as you are only the second person to comment on it. I might try again some day.
