no... it is so hard to find your soul mate these days... try as you might :( everyone are either too stupid, too 'fad', too narrow-minded, too realistic, too practical, too damn independent or simply think too much of themselves. guess it is the influence of modern 'tech' society (were your Si'itian folk's society affected by this?). i'm translating a great article on this topic at the moment, wich i will post to the forums, just to see how people will react to that.

heck, the true meaning of the word 'love' became so hopelesly distorted, that the feeling as a whole is really at the break of extinction. now it just a synonim of 'sex' (well, at least in russian). WELL IT IS NOT! :) there are far more greater feelings on a multitude of different levels of perception, then just 'earthly delights'. blah blah blah... *sigh*

that is why it makes me so damn happy (yes, happy - not depressed :)) to look at this type of art that it shakes me from my very foundation....

I agree with some parts and disagree with others...though I do have to say that, yeah, unfortunately modern society has chenged love to an equal of sex. Emotions are blended out and grayed to a non-existant.
Yes, the Si'itians are technologically highly evolved but they still know the value of true love and feelings, especially because of their religious beleifs and the bonds of life (equal to marriage, just that these bonds really last for life)
