Another developing piece for my portfolio. After I'm done with this high res model I'm going to normal/projection map it onto a low res game model with textures. Then I'll rig and animate it doing its stuff.

What the shit! There's a big white thing.
Why is there a white thing, are you busily constructing some kind of KKKannon? "Gore: Bringing You The Future Of Oppressing Minority, Today."
Also I am about as impressed as I was the first time, but you've obviously fixed whatever I complained about because I can't remember what it was and I don't see it anymore.
I would like to put in a request for psychedelic hippy coloration complete with "Make love not war" spraypainted on.

KKKrimany! I can always anticipate the most amusing comments from you good sir. Your completely right though. This was commissioned by the KKK to annihilate the minorities.
It also doubles over as a frontline positive representational vehicle for the grand dragon. In this mode it doubles over as a "Pope mobile" but is on an otherworldy level of granderous quality.
the only real thing I think is different about these from the last pics I showed you is these have no solid colored areas to show where the incompletion is, even though its still blatantly there. I guess I need to repair your eyes... give them to me, you can pick them up in a week or so.

yeah, the original concept art for this (which I'll post with the final design) has a little figure drawn next to it. The other day I was looking over it again and I think the ladder actually needs to be reduced in size. What I THOUGHT was the ladder originally might actually be a little series of guard rails lining the crawl space for the ladder within. This thing is absolutely massive.
I cant mentally reference anything by the name of Blaster Master.... HOWEVER, I cant get the name Master Blaster out of my mind now.
"Who rules Barter Town!?" "MASTER BLASTER! MASTER BLASTER!"

Never. Maybe one day on Turbosquid, but thats still a ways away. I'm surprised you asked actually considering just how much shit I give the general person here who uses models they had nothing to do with creating, and don't even mention anything about the models proper credit.
Its EXTREMELY shameful in my opinion as a digital artist.

Eh, I always give credit to the originators, as well as give out my sources for content when asked.
However I am more surprised that you would jump the conclusion that I would do such a thing as not give credit where it is due. To me, giving credit is the right thing to do, and should be done ALL the time. I make it a point to list my insperations and model sources ALL the time, and if I forget, I make it a point to correct that mistake ASAP.
Now pardon me, if I was just CURIOUS, and wanted to ask a simple question. I was not expecting to be accused of something I do not like, or condone to be done period.

Insult is only given where I see it is due. Day by day I feel polluted with the amount of uncreative ordure people draw out on paper and label it as art. I have adapted though and live with it. This does not mean I will encourage its growth. I will at every willing turn give insult to injury whether they are prepared, aware or not.
I don't see why they would put me down in any way aside from a possibly brutal critique of my work which I fully encourage. No one has ever really done such a thing to me about my artwork aside from one person who just sounded like a retard who couldn't speak English and only offered one-sided biased opinions rather than objective facts. I employ nothing buy objectiveness in my critiques and artistic opinions with NO biased towards style or context. I know what makes art work better and the lot of you and many others cannot see this through your arrogance. Open yourselves up to a brutal critique and you too will be able to grow stronger and better as an artist.
Well I would have no need to worry about such things as the low res will be a completely seperate model from this high res.
The great thing about projection mapping is the lack of focus you can give to your high res model. Edge flow, tris, quads, illegal polygons, etc, none of them matter as long as the smooth shaded model looks kosher with no breaks of holes in it.
Since the game will have nothing to do with the high res model, all focus can be spent on the low poly and tweaking that to perfection which is relatively easy going as you have a perfectly modelled out reference to build it on top of.
