well she could always find him again and to get back at him just sit on him just make herself a little bigger and heavier when she does it. Or use a different image and name lure him there and sit on him there while she dines. She has a lovely dress i hate seeing any lovely lady be stood up especially her.

Description aside, here's my interpretation:
Her date had never met her in-person before that night, so he did not know what she looked like. He only had their online interactions to base an image of her, while she was self-conscious of her size for fear he wouldn't find someone as fat as her beautiful.
When the time finally came to meet each other in real life for the first time, he approached her... got surprised... felt awkward... then left, too overcome with shock to say anything. Even though he found her personality attractive, he just couldn't handle the thought of dating someone three-four times as large as him.

That's my take. Tragic, I know, but... it doesn't look like a happy ending.
