~ The Orangutan at our local zoo is slightly enamored with me. He'll follow me from one end of the enclosure to the other, sit down and make a kissing face at me. I suppose I should be flattered...but it's odd since they are one of the few animals I don't visit all that often. When my brother and his wife were up we went to the zoo and I proved to them (and to myself...sometimes I'm worried I'm crazy) that the animals do recognize me. I got the giraffes to come closer for photographs and then Joe followed me about. He was being particularly expressive today so I decided to snap a few pictures of him.~
