We interrupt your regular schedule of bugs for... Spyro OCs? In 2021?! Over a decade since the last time half of them were drawn?! I sure have absolutely no consistency, do I?
But yes I got a bit nostalgic and decided to draw my old gang again. In order we have Umbra the fire dragon, Crystal the ice dragoness, Eron the earth dragon and Zappo the electricity dragon. On here I've only ever posted one drawing of Umbra but the rest were only shown on DeviantArt. Except for Crystal whom I've kept hidden for years because originally she was meant to appear in the second story of the "Legend" and so I thought it would be cool to keep her a secret until then. Welp instead I never really published anything about the story and so the poor gal got left in the dust. As a result of that I also had no references for her so I had to draw her completely from memory, luckily she was one of those I did draw a bit more often so I think I got the design at least 90% accurate. But yes this is her first public debut because of that.

Umbra was last drawn in 2015 when I graduated high school, Eron and Zappo however really haven't seen any new art in a decade. Crystal is much harder to place because again I don't remember what the most recent drawing of her was and I currently don't have access to any of my old art. But it's definitely been a while for her as well.

Honestly drawing them again has been quite the experience, especially since I didn't make any adjustments to their designs. I rarely change character designs and I do still like theirs even if they are old, I think they are pretty good for their time. And it's just really nice to see them in my current style. Even if I haven't done anything with their story in years, the fact they still just exist and hang around in the background is comforting in a way.

So here they are, the unsung heroes of my childhood. Unsung but never forgotten.
