A closeup of painting I'm planning for Snit the Generic Orange Lizardman. Someone told me, "You should only do light pencil and don't do much detail when you're going to paint on an illustration board" ... But detail is my THING! GRAH!!!! It's lighter than it looks, I just photofixed the pic before submitting.

Actually, I don't know what weapon to have him weild. Swords are over rated..... I was thinking a flail. Your thoughts?


I'm intending to ink the lines before I paint, of course. I'm probably going to use primary water colors.
