Pacato's a fox with unique enough markings to get easily noticed, and given that he's noticed so many more restaurants doing outdoor dining in his neck of the woods, it's as easy as pie for him to confidently waddle on in from the nearby bushes onto the patio to the surprise and delight of tourists eager for a memorable photo to post to their social media accounts.
"Hon, I know we shouldn't feed the wildlife, but look how fat and cute it is! Let me give it one little treat? That won't hurt it, right? Besides, it looks so hungry..."

After a month or so of belly-filling meals any time of the day that he pleases, he's got a nice circuit laid out for breakfasts, lunches and dinners, and a belly that's a few crispy chicken sandwiches away from dragging the ground.
