This tale happened several years ago ...
One day Ricky did't feel well at all, and he had some fever, his parents were worried about him since Ricky is a child with a special condition ... his defenses in his body are somekind low and he is asthmatic!
What had happened was that two days before, Ricky had played in the rain and jumped on water muds, and entered the house drenched, something that makes him very susceptible to getting sick!
When they got home after seeing the doctor, Ricky's fever started to rise, they put him to bed, but first they gave the prescribed medications ... when Ricky was lying down his parents stayed by their side!
The hours were long, the fever did not subside and there was a lot of concern in Ricky's parents ... his mother was by his side, rubbing his head and from time to time she kissed him, while saying: "Everything will be fine, my little pup! You will recover and will go out and play outside as usual! I know it! I love you with all my heart! "
While his father with tears in his eyes, looked at the sky and said:
"Can You hear me?
Am I getting through tonight?
Can You see him?
Can You make him feel alright?
If You can hear me
Let me take his place somehow
You see he's not just anyone...
....He's My Son!"
It was a very long night, but they didn't care, they just wanted Ricky to be fine and recovered!
And so it was ... with all the love and care from his parents for him and with a faith that move mountains, a miracle was done ... the fever subsided and Ricky woke up with a big smile on his face!
And there was great happiness and excitement in that little room ...!
I still think that despite all the adversities, diseases and everything that happens in this world ... I'll still believe in miracles, many times our faith is broken and we waver, but if someone believes with all their heart ... everything it's possible!
This drawing is based on a song called "He's My Son" performed by singer Mark Schultz, and is based on a real life event!

Hola Fred, cómo va todo. Muy bonito el dibujo como siempre... me recuerda hace años que tuve que estar hospitalizado por unos días porque tenía principio de neumonía, me tenían que poner un respirador y me daban Apiretal que estaba asqueroso no, lo siguiente.
Menudo calvario pasé, madre mía, pero por suerte al recuperarme me hice más fuerte.

Don Robeyand George Hollis put this history to into sweet lyrics, but Mark Schultz's voice drove it home. Mark Schultz is blessed with the ability to tug at heart strings and this song hurts so much.

Like I've said this is a so poignant story ... I'm sure that a lot of people went throught that kind of ordeals lately I'm glad that your story has a nice ending ...
