Sudden tons of comisions for or by one person, out of nowhere, makes me a bit confused as to why they're spending so much money on art. xD

Dude =/ This is the first time someone bought a commission for me, so this piece means a lot to me. I've only done two commissions before, and one I bought for my friends.

But regardless...you need not wonder at all. Our money is ours, we earned it, and we're supporting artists with it.

Hardly accussing you of anything, so you need not explain yourself. As a matter of difference in opinion, if I came into money I would do more to spend it on something more tangable than art. Even so, I wasn't necessarily saying this was a terrible "waste of money", or any other negative comment.

Ever since the Allan fiasco, I've had a much different impression on the reality of art.

Well, you're earlier comment started off, "I was going to complain..." Thus, implying a negative inclination. I know digital art may not be the most tangible thing, but it's a visual enjoyment no different to that of a cartoon/movie, or the listening of music. Plus, in addition to it being my character, it carries sentimental value.

And it's a trade off for some of us. I'm not a gamer, so instead of spending $60 and some game, I can have art or give art that would stay with me forever. =)

Not to argue with anything else; when I was thinking of gifts to give people, I like to find a middle-ground between sentiment and practical..it? Golf clubs. Hahah.

Oh, and the "I was going to complain" thing, I've been told I have a very peculiar sense of sarcasm. I tend to make things confusing, when someone who doesn't know me well deals with it.

WTB signatures under my comments that say "If I've offended you, hurt you, annoyed you, confused you, or aroused you- you have been victumized by my ironic sarcasm. Please, have a good day."

To me it's all sentimental, however... let me put it this way... I'm going on a deployment, I'm not concerned with money for two reasons... cause either a) I'll have plenty when I get back or b) I'll be dead or disabled, by which point money will no longer be a worry to me.

I figure I might as well spend it on friends I care about instead of letting it sit in my bank while I'm gone, or to the point that I won't need it anyways
