hehe, just trying some stuff in Paint Shop Pro 9~ I was trying to go for an old fashioned Japanese painting look, but ah well XD
Anyways, this is one of my own original dragon species. The oriental Cavern Dragon, or Eastern Cave Dragon, is a species of eastern dragons that are found in the darkness of caves. They all have no eyes, but they have excellent hearing, smell and touch. The two long tendrils on the snout are actually modified whiskers that can move when the dragon wants it to, and the ears are very large and sensitive, much like a bat. Basic diet consists of Cavern Beetles, which reach about 6.5 feet from tip to tip.
The portrait here is of a male with earthy colors. Females lack the horns and the full mane; they do, however, have enlarged fur along the back of their head. Hatchlings all look like young females, but the males will have tiny nubs on their head where the horns will grow. Cavern dragons come in few colors. The most common is a colorless albino, while those with more earthy colors are rare.
