As a first animation, this is nicely done. Characters are recognizable, movement is relatively smooth and the overall shapes are clearly distinguishable even with this pixelated style. Very nice. :D
Also I really like the wind-effect on the grass and the ember. Nice touch. :P

Right? At first it was just the oddish tapping his foot and looking around.
But then I thought back to my childhood and playing “hey you pikachu” where there are a lot of oddish hiding in the ground.
Then I thought “what would an oddish hide from?”
And of course I then had to draw a charmander.
