After contemplating both who and what he is, the creature known as Umbra attempts once more to become a part of a society that views him as nothing more than a monster. Despite his misgivings and fear, an even stronger desire irresistibly pulls him there, and only time will tell if that will be his undoing...

This is a continuation of my previous story; Climax Into Darkness, featuring my newest character, Umbra. Both stories stand alone however, and you do not need to read "Climax Into Darkness" to follow the plot of "New Purpose, New Life" (indeed, some of you may not be able to for "Climax Into Darkness is an Adult story). Reading the previous instalment however will give you further insights as to his past and his character.
