I am working on a few larger pieces which is why I haven't posted much lately. I thought I would put this WIP up for the moment.
This is a very challenging piece for
Thalassa who asked me for an affectionate piece between herself and her best friend Ikari. The full image will show the two girls quietly observing a thunder storm outside their large Bay Window from their seat on the window ledge. I am hoping to show the close bond these two girls share as best I can.
I am getting to know Thalassa as I work with her and I have to say, she's been wonderful and it's a pleasure and a priviledge to be able to work with her. :)

I do like inking a lot nowadays too, but a used to really hate it. I think it's because I just didn't do it fast. No I have learned to do very long sweeping strokes and they look so much better and they take less time, so I can put lots of details in :3
Have you traded with anyone before, having them colour for you? It can be fun to see someone put work in to something you drew/inked :3

I might be a while getting it done but I don't let people down. Just my commissions are my only income so I have to put them at the top of the list :3 If you dont mind the wait it's fine! I like to work on personal stuff inbetween work to keep me going a bit though and colouring would be fine for me to do for you.

She IS a lovely person from what I've gathered so far, bless her little socks <3 And by the sounds of it you and her share a very special friendship I envy a lot. You give her a lot of strength and sanctuary from what I've read :3

!!! *Hugs* Have I told you you're amazing? If I haven't I've been very remiss because you are amazing! Bouncy as heck over here and so very very happy you were willing to do this. You're a talented artist and a wonderful person and it'sbeen my pleasure to get to know you. =3
I do put a lot of effort in, and mostly thoguht behind them too. I just really like to give customers my best. Rushing or skimping on details feels so bad to me, I want everyone to be happy.
And thank you, I am liking how the inks are turning out and the faces are looking really nice at the moment so fingers crossed I can pull off the emotion in the end with all elements bound together.
