There were some blatant errors I hadn't noticed on the first round. So I fixed them up.

The recent two PS4 games I bought, Mortal Shell, and Nier:Automata, are taking up the majority of my attention. But between the two of them, the much more pulse pounding seems to be Mortal Shell, a game that is bare-bones minimum "Dark Souls"-esque in its' presentation, gameplay, and story to the point of feeling incredibly naked and vulnerable, but also tremendously challenging. But when the gameplay mechanic ditches the "level-up" grind for stats in favor of unlocking free bonuses for your character, and said character is a white naked humanoid who inhabits the corpses of fallen warriors like a set of new clothes, this is just icing in the cake, which is to say, this is every bit appropriate as it is intentional.

I'm in a gay relationship with this game now. I have to get some sleep because he keeps screwing with my head.

Buuuuut, eventually I have to put aside this little open discovery of my game sexuality and give Nier a shot. She seems like a lot of fun and has a lot personality.
