Art by: Myself
Teseh Empire, the Teseh, Ertai and Borean races as well as the emblem belong to: Also myself.
More pixel art! Not animated this time... but this took as long if not longer as the animated emblem I did yesterday. The Teseh are my homebrewed race of middle-eastern, Ottoman, Maghreb and Egypt-inspired jackal people. They founded a vast and powerful empire together with the nomadic Ertai, near-human desert dwellers, later to be joined by the serpentine Boreans from the north-east mountains. Hopefully I can get art of them and the empire as a whole sometime.
The text translates to ''Dehyavar Ehrtesehmeid'sayat'', which is Teseh language for ''Great Empire of the Earth-People''.

Well, it's enough lore when you feel like you're able to write smoothly about your species because you know the different aspects of their lives really well. If it helps, I have three questionnaires - one for characters, one for species, and one for worldbuilding - that I send to clients before they commission me so that I can capture information about their works. I can send them to you, if you like? No pressure to commission me, but it'll help you check out whether there are any areas of development you could still do with these two species.
