Plantivorous Rouge is a descendent of the Cave Dweller species that lives hidden beneath the foliage on the jungle floors.
The nutritional requirements are similar, Plantivorous Rouge feeds off of the salt derived from human sweat, as well as nitrogen in the urine, and other phallic secretions.
When stimulated, long vines will tangle and loop around the prey to hold him in place while the petals close around his body. The vines will slowly pull the prey into the bulb which is red in colour.
Warm secretions lubricate the bulb for easy entry, and makes it impossible for the prey to escape without help.
Plantivorous Rouge uses many tactics to make it’s prey struggle and produce sweat, including pressure, warmth, and specialized vines that invade the mouth and other cavities. After approximately 3 days, plantivorous will have collected enough nutrients from its prey that it can release him back to the outside world in a spitball of slime and secretions. After the prey is released, he won’t have to worry about being captured again as Plantivorous Rouge will lie dormant for a couple weeks, however the prey should be careful not to seek shelter in a nearby cavern, as cave dwellers will likely be found there as well.
