Sega's second to last console happened to be a 32-bit system called the "Sega Saturn." Released in 1994 in Japan and discontinued in 2000, it didn't offer that much of a large library like the Sega Genesis or Dreamcast did (The only Sonic games made for it were Sonic R, Sonic Jam, and a cancelled game called Sonic Xtreme). Because of it's high price, hard to develop hardware design, and lack of third party support, the Sega Saturn ended up being a commercial failure, only selling over nine million units. It would quickly be replaced by the Sega Dreamcast later on.
Multiple third party consoles were made for the Sega Saturn during it's lifetime, including the Hitachi Hi-Saturn and the Victor V-Saturn. The model Jaggy has is the American model. In Japan, the Sega Saturn had a completely different logo, color scheme, and even different controllers.
Launch Games (US):
-Clockwork Knight
-Daytona USA
-Panzer Dragoon
-Pebble Beach Golf Links
-Virtua Fighter
-Worldwide Soccer: Sega International Victory Goal Edition
