These are some of the stables from the Tryon Palace in New Bern, North Carolina. A very lovely place- stop in sometime if you can. Well, provided you don't mind historical houses and lovely planned gardens, etc.
I may put up some colour photos of the gardens and such at some point, just for gits and shiggles. We'll see, though. ^^

I should start putting the ss/aperture info on these things, for those that do wonder. Regardless, this one was:
ISO 800
1/30 sec.
f/4.5
Lighting was actually provided by one of the widows in the stable. It was 1 in the afternoon, so plenty of sunshine out and about. ^^

I generally stick to 400, myself... though low-lighting does require those higher ISOs, of course... like these stables. Sometimes I even let myself use ISO 200, but never any lower than that.
Aww, auto-mode? You bring tears of sadness to meee.... But I guess I can't talk- I have some friends who disapprove of the fact that I shoot in JPEG and not RAW.
