I decided to forgo the next character poll and start on the final female of the R-Force: Lana "Rain Dancer" Angel! This beautiful fox has been with me longer than all the other characters from the team, and here in my galleries she's quite popular, so I thought I'd give her fans a little something special ^_^
Here's the preliminary sketch before inking. As you can see, I've been tinkering with her uniform again. Her original shock suit was functional, given her athletic prowess, but at the same time, too plain. I went back to video games for inspiration, this time using some touches from Assassin's Creed II. As you can see, the cape is bigger and off to the side (an idea I got from Cybercat in a commission). I've also added some skirt-like portions to further shield her hips and cover the field medic's kit strapped to her legs, but now that I look at them I wonder if they're a bit too much (they're transparent just like the fabric on Mirage's uniform).
