Dark, as a vampire is a member of the Camarilla, and he hides that he is also a werewolf in life (he can still shapeshift) for that would mean a Blod Hunt over his head.

Anyway, his major problem is the Sabbat, a sect of vampires say that we vampires don't need to hide from humans, and also want to destroy the elders. Well, Dark is an elder (he is more than 2.000 years olf) and had to got rid of a whole Sabbat pack. Tee hee, poor baby vampires who now are ashes in the night... but Dark did not went unharmed.
