Well in an advert informing the public about the danger of gun crime or leaving them unattended and such, that image has an easy to understand and quite powerfull metaphor with it, or atleast I thought so.
A bullet itself is just a small piece of metal, harmless if you hold it in your hand, but as you've shown here, fire it and it becomes a little avatar of death.

See living in England means I can't get a firearm (wouldn't want one either, I'd go to a well stocked shooting range and rent one), but I have shot before but they were .22 single shot breach loaders so a pop gun compared to most other guns. It was fun to fire though because you opened the breach and the shell would fly out with a "Ping!" and fly over to the right and hit the next guy on the head.
these are right at the end of the barrels so there isn;t that kind of problem...not that this thing lacks power XD first time i shot it, my hand hurt for three days. XD it was at an out dor gun range and i had fired off forty rounds at various targets in Arizona XD the shock blastwas powerful enough that it sent up dust in waves in a circular patters all around me XD
nope. i DID however scare off some people running a bale of pot accross the desert. they must have been amatures though. they musn't have had a police scanner and paniced when they seen a cop behind them and pulld into my driveway with their headlights off. i watched them sit there for ten minutes and so i went out to their car with the gun on my hip in a holster with my hand near it...so when they seen the cannon i had, they paniced MOSRE and took off, but not before ditching a two foot by two foot bale of solid weed out the window. XD so i called the sherrif and had him pick it up, and gave him the vehicle description. *shrugs* that was it really XD my only run in with criminals and they were scared as it was XD
lol, yeah. XD my mother was scared these guys would come back though XDDDDDD i told her that they were running very scared XD but the sheriff and i humored her and did a little looking around the yard XD and he had a car patroll the neighborhood for a coiple of days to watch for the car and keep them from wanting to come back and see what happened to their shipment XD
It's good at being simple and straight to the point everyone seems to forget these days: guns were designed with no other purpose than to bring death and destruction to people. That has been their sole function ever since they were first invented and as much as people like to jazz them up and make them seem akin to a cool fashion accessory that's all they'll ever be.

part of me has a deep sad emotion to that image, another part wants that image to be reality more often, and another part of me is sayin that im completely psychotic. but ill be damned ifall three dont think this is awesome. wait, im already damned for giving death like that, well cant have it my way all the time.sory if this dont mak sence, just woke up.
Yeah but thats the whole philosiphy on warfare, you injure the enemy soldier not kill, it takes 3 guys to pull a screaming guy who is probably going to die anyways, out of the field of fire, and probably get 2 more injured in the process.. If you just kill him outright, at most it takes one to pull him off if they even try.
