I have watched some sccreenshots of bangaa and of course, the 
narse's pic "Bangaa Pr0n" was already inspiring me to draw a quick sketch of bangaa, and so I did and sent it here too.

They're a reptilian race that HATE being called lizards, though that only happened in FFTA. The reason why they hate it is because they are considered cousins to lizardmen in FF12, but hate that comparison. Also, called a bangaa a lizard is like calling a human a monkey (in other words, not very flattering).
I know. But it's just annoying to hear even that, if someone once mixes up anyone who hates to be called as lizard, that "they ain't" in aggressive sound.
I know bangaa are just bangaas, looking like lizards, but yes. Still it sounds annoying the "me no like call lizard"- thingie

Every scalie using different name, compared even accidently as lizards, makes the annoyingly furious. Think about that in this way:
You meet Lizardmans and you try to guess their clanname (or species name) : they get annoyed to be called as those other things, because they're just Lizardmans.
And basically, they all look like reptiles/lizardmans, even though they have a name for their species. But it annoys me that they say that "they hate to be called as lizardmans", because we some do like lizardmans too, aye?
