And here we are. Finally, after a few days researching, testing and finally working on the definitive result, this is my very first decent animation! I'm not going to lie, the process had several torturous phases. In more than one moment the frustration was leading, but, at the end of the day, this was incredibly fun to do and incredibly satisfying. This may sound really silly, but the sensation you feel once your OC, the character you drew, literally starts to move like if it were coming to live abruptly, is simply too hard to describe. It is simply amazing!
It required a careful process including testing several frame rates, several quantities of frames, several locations for the frames, and of course, checking that everything was perfect before putting together all the pieces of the puzzle. Apart of all of that, I had to try making the GIF as light as possible without losing quality abruptly. It was a crazy number of things to do, but I'm pretty sure that the result worth it.
So here she is, Goldigony, a dragon under Princess Celestia's custody, forced to go to a school were diapers are mandatory (because she is a baby dragon of course) and with a not so kind attitude like the average dragons. Isn't she really kind with her stare? :3

Wow! How wonderful to see you not only posting a new picture, but one that is animated and featuring Goldigony!
This definitely had to be a labor of love to finish. Is there any particular aspect of Goldigony's movements you feel particularly proud of? Perhaps the way her wings move? Or it could be how her whole body drifts through the air?
With animation, from what I have heard, doing a diaper is really hard. It has different physics to it that are impacted by the motion of the one who is wearing it.
Do you think you will make more Goldigony animations in the future? Knowing you are bringing her life makes me so happy, Sweetie!
Now to wonder where she is flying off to? Maybe she is running away from Celestia? Princess Celestia could have made Goldigony angry enough to run away?
Maybe she is showing off to Spike after he is put in the same dorm room as her? She wants to show him how she is the dominant dragoN?
I am sure there will be other amazing stories with our new dragon friend, Goldigony. Until then, I am happy to see you back sharing your talent while continuing to get even better at bringing your adorable creations to life.

Thank you very much Yosh. Well, I can tell you that the heart of this animation is the movement of the wings, I feel pretty proud of obtaining a great result with that. However, the three separated movements that occur together in the animation are all of them really important for giving it enough realism, and together they make a great result. In this case the animation is honestly too simple, she moves her wings, her body moves smoothly from up to down and vice versa (pretty much like an helicopter, you know that floating in the air exactly in the same spot is basically impossible, so this is the closer thing you could do as a flying creature), and finally she blinks, so, there wasn't a lot of complication drawing the diaper because there are not those kinds of moving physics at all. Considering this we can also say that she is not flying away from anyone, she is more like "floating" in the air, just moving the wings to stay suspended in the same spot. This happens for example with Ember in the episode Gauntlet of fire, but I'm sure that Rainbow and Smolder also does this a lot of times in the show. I chose this animation because it was simple enough for a novice try, but cute at the same time. We can say then that she is just showing off a little bit that she is a dragon and nobody should disturb her.
And yes, I would love to do more animations in the future. I'm not sure if they will be about Goldigony or not, but I surely loved this experience and I want to repeat it pretty soon :)

Thanks so much for your description of the full animation. It would make for a great avatar icon, if you would ever want to create an account based around your Original Characters, or just Goldigony.
The hovering pose reminds me of some of the cute animations I would see of Scorchios from Neopets. Though, even with their talents, I still know I would prefer yours... and not just because she's cute in that diaper. *Blush*
I could see her doing this when she gets back to her dorm room with Spike.She could easily take the top bed of the bunk beds with her flying skills. She could also use her hovering to keep at a safe, and semi-intimadating, distance from the younger dragon. (She may even hide the cookies in high corners of the room that she knows our favorite purple dragon cannot reach.)

A fun thought is, when Spike does get his wings, the thought of returning to their old dorm room and, before Goldigony can do anything, Spike swoops up into the top bunk and eats some cookies while saying, "I have been waiting years to do this. Man does it feel good to have the cookies and top bunk.".
Of course this is all in good fun. However it would make for a nice memory.
