Heh...I wish I had someone that my art influenced back in the day...If you hadn't noticed, theres nobody out there that is doing furry art inspired by my style. Oh, well...

I've seen your stuff pre-2000. Your style is just so, stylized, that it's nigh-impossible to mimic. The situations can be done, but the linework and detail would require tracing, IMO.

Yep. That's how I knew about "Fatalis" and "TDK" before they were ousted. I think the same can be said about Donotsue and Nimbl. No two students could EVER have the EXACT same style no matter how many classes they took together.

Funny...they did in traditional animation houses all the time by the hundreds...

Because they copied a known character that had oodles of reference sheets. Like "How to draw" books. There are people who can draw Bugs Bunny freehanded as well as Chuck Jones did.

Still, I do not see or have seen anybody even try to draw like me over all these years. If there is a few examples out there, I'd like to know for at least the encouragement...

But look at it this way, nobody can pass themselves off as you in order to make a profit from the artwork.

Various idiots from outside the US (mostly from Spanish speaking countries from what I've seen) have traced or even uploaded the original art on DA in the hopes that someone will buy it as a print. No single artist comes to mind that was specifically targeted. I don't know about Furbuy or other Anthro artsites, but I assume that they'd be shot down very quickly if it happened there.

Sarah Sheel? Arrgh, I meant to say 'Sarah Wheeler'! Sorry about that.

"Fatalis" apparently was a pen name used for when she was drawing porn so her real, professional name wouldn't be tainted. "Fatalis", if I remember correctly, received various Cease and Desist orders from WB and possibly Disney and Archie Comics for drawing their characters in such lewd activities and attire. So, she had to take down her website and stopped drawing erotic fanart altogether. At least stopped displaying it publicly for all I know.

I find it interesting that artists of past like Wheeler, Winger, Donotsue and others get those "Cease and Desist" letters, yet when it came to me and my involvements with Minerva, I never received one, or even them trying to ruin my publicity-stunt wedding. I guess they got the word I just didn't care, or I had no professional collateral to risk at the time...( still don't... )

Might've been based on Accessibility. I don't recall ever finding more than 2 or so images of yours on a site whereas the other artists had websites and the like so they would have been more easily found and charged with the "crime". You might not've been "popular" enough to completely grab their attention.

I'm not a lawyer so I don't know the specifics of how a CnD would be determined or executed.

I guess if I drew Minerva blowing a horse penis the size of her head at that time, I would have been really "Popular" enough... but, someone else drew that and I went on my own separate stealth ventures into infamy...

I don't know if you realized this, but I drew Minerva licking a Horse Phallus yet I'm still rather unpopular. I'm mostly known for my Goldie obsession and possibly my gallery of Screen Shots
