Antrhro Raptor Sculpt R.I.P.
Well Ive had this guy for a long time and I wanted to finish him up and make a mold of him. Unfortunately while I had him boxed up and in the car for the trip from Central Oregon to Southern California, he melted. This is a very good reason never to do a Maquette sculpture in regular Oil clay if you plan on making a mold of him. Or at least my reason. Most people do them in oil clay anyway but I find now that Polymer clay "Sculpty" at least is repairable. This is a complete loss here. :(
This was a maquette "Minature version of a larger project" of a costume I was working on a while back. I will finish the costume eventually pending on how many years it takes me to sculpt it between work and school. Right now the head is stored in a temperature controlled storage unit in Oregon which my dad will empty out in a couple weeks and bring to his house. I have to tell him to put the head in his house rather than the garage cause I dont want this happening to the head which is full size.
