I present to you a very exciting picture commissioned by
jsk244 featuring his sona Caspian the Gogoat with the goddess May Sa Muneh the Mightyena that her serves in my world. This is a fairly accurate size comparison for the two. >3>!
This picture was inspired by some random ideas that floated around of May Sa dual wielding katanas which she would also set fire. The fire was inspired by random videos Jsk was showing me of actual people wielding swords on fire in dances.
I’m pretty happy with this picture except for the face. My issue with the face played into part of my heavy push to practice and get better at them. I don’t really have people telling me outright it is an issue in my work, but I can pick it up in statistics of how a picture performs when a picture is posed side by side with most any other artist.
I am getting better at it, but it is still a process!Done as a sketch on paper, scanned in, and painting in Photoshop CS5.
