-Brenda majored in english at college mostly cause she figured it'd be easy. After college, her parents' connections got her a secretary job at a law firm. They offered to let her stay at home, but she wanted to be on her own.

-Brenda is big on using magic, but just for things for the sake of convenience. She never bothered to learn big or complicated spells.
