The details are amazing, especially in that eye close-up. You even have droplets of tears perched on the lashes :D and highlights on the lashes too... i suppose they were probably inspired by your RL fascination.
I love that shiny nose on the bottom. ...i bet it's cold and damp and would be quite the shocker when stuck into warm sensitive places ;P
