An afternoon shift just after her break, Lori was waddling down the hall trying to get back to the camera room since that was pretty much what she'd been delegated to now that she was nearing the end of this surrogacy. It had certainly been a trip, not even realizing twins were a part of the equation but it did explain her larger than normal appetite. She'd had yet another box of doughnuts to herself and was going to take the last one with her only to feel a sharp pain dig its way at her insides, giving a wince as she did feel a bit of movement from within and resting a hand up against the wall after she had rounded the corner, but her other hand was occupied by said doughnut. Ears folded back from the pain but gingerly placing the doughnut in her mouth so she could rub at a spot that might ease up on that pressure and give her a moment to recover. Her boss didn't expect her to always get back on time because of the pregnancy, that was normal. Nothing to really be worried about which gave her that peace of mind to take this 'second' little break. Finally starting to feel it subside before she pulled her hand away to clasp the doughnut again but NOT before having a bite since the taste had been a bit tantalizing. Chewing and swallowing it down hungrily before looking down at that burgeoning middle of hers. "You two are such trouble makers, almost making me lose my doughnut like that. Guess you two couldn't wait, huh?" Giggling as she shook her head, if it wasn't spoiling herself with sweets she was doing so with other home cooked comfort foods or desserts. "Now, let me get back to work and we can enjoy the rest of this for the last half hour of my shift. Then we can go home and have some of that Cheeseburger Pasta left from last night along with the Chicken Alfredo~" The Tigxen slightly drooling at the very thought of such delicacies. A quick lick to her lips and her free hand resting to the side of her tummy as she waddled the rest of the way back to her post. Key card tugged from her pocket and flashed in front of the scanner of the door before the click sounded and she wiggled herself back inside, door locking behind her as she swung around to seat herself upon that cushy chair. Twirling back about to face the screens and letting the treat rest atop her belly. Humming as she glanced over and saw some of the more active mothers down in the Fitness Annex or the patrons of the Cafe coming and going. There was always a 'once in a blue moon' happening she had to inform a co-worker to check on but today was and had continued to be relatively relaxed. Feeling a kick that made the treat bounce a bit on her fur. "Oh! Okay, goodness. I wanted to savor it kids, patience IS a virtue... oh but you'll learn, you'll learn." A gentle sigh as she grinned and with a quick lick of her chops she took a bite into the pastry with a soft moan of delight. The sweet taste making her hand absently rub at that orb in her lap, finishing the sweet in just a few bites and lazily watching the cameras in the meantime. Time just ticking away as she mused about what to do tomorrow on her day off only to realize that now had been just about half an hour so she could change shifts, considering her relief of Hiu, the Shark coming in. A small holoscreen popping up beside Lori. -Ready to go home yet, or still enjoying your snack?- "Oh, I'm ready Hiu. Tonight's a special night so I'm gonna enjoy myself. Thanks for covering the night shifts for me until I can get back to normal." The shark waving her hand to the Tigxen in a 'not a problem' gesture. -Always, see ya' next week. GiGi's gonna have me as Security Detail for another excursion for new Raw Materials and such. Plus, free food and travel.- A happy hum and smile as the Shark took Lori's spot and the Tigxen stood in the doorway. "Mhm, be safe and have a g'night! Cheeseburger an Chicken Alfredo~" The last bit trailing off after the door closed.

After a short drive and picking up a few 2 Liters of soda before riding the elevator back up to her Penthouse, Lori hurried herself past that threshold and quickly made her way to the bathroom, the twins having decided right after she'd set off from the gas station to 'need to go' for Lori's poor bladder. A few minutes of freshening up and getting comfortable in a sports bra and some nice, stretchy yoga pants that she let her belly hang over top of as she waddled back into the kitchen. "You'd think the two of you could pick a better time than two minutes after we pull onto the road again." Giving a gentle prod to the top of her stomach as she pulled the fridge open, hand leaving the handle to tug out a few Glad Food Containers and setting them on the counter behind herself. Bumping the door shut with her belly and giving a giggle as she quickly mixed the two dishes together and popped it into the microwave. The smell dancing through the air and tickling her senses. "Gosh I'm starving, but just a little longer. Put on show of mine an we can enjoy ourselves wee ones." She crooned at the now awake pair within, pulling the meal out and stirring it before tossing it back in for a bit more and then using a hot pad to carry back to her living room and turn on the television, flipping to a re-run as she began to chow down. Slurping up cheese, pasta an chicken as her stomach gurgled and groaned with delight, a purr resonating from her throat. "Goodnesh, so much better 'n I expected. I could really do for another full pan of this if I weren't so tired." Giggling as she slurped and gulped up a few more bites, hardly noticing her belly inching a bit more outward on all sides as more and more of the dish vanished until she was using a finger to get every last taste. The gravid Tigxen heaving a sigh of delight only to give a long and rattling belch that made her recline a bit more in relaxation. "That... freed up some room in the tank~" Giggling with a blush crossing over her muzzle before she glanced up and toward the fridge once more, freezer door now tempting her before she couldn't help herself and struggled to her feet. Waddling into the kitchen to tug out a carton of ice cream and quickly topping it all with some nuts, chocolate syrup and pulling along a thing of soda under her other arm, spoonful already in her gob as she had a happy bounce in her step, behind wiggling back to the couch before planting that rear into the cushions and settling everything into a cozy space. Tugging the spoon free and digging it back into her dessert, slipping the cool, gooey treat past her lips and then having a swig of soda along side it. Feeling the carbonation and ice cream react to one another, tickling her nose with a moan before she continued with bite after bite. Bit by bit that carton was heading to her greedy belly along with a full 2 Liter. The Tigxen yawning as she set the empty container beside the cleaned dish. "Mmm... I am -so- glad I don't work tomorrow. This was BWOoooUUURRRRP!!! Hoogh, this was definitely everything I wanted though. And what you two wanted, hmm? Not being so active after all that? Heh, I mean I'm HUORRRPH Ough, aftertaste... I'm pretty tired myself." Giggling as she traced a finger along her belly, from top to side and around to the apex and down the front, not a single movement. However she eyed the measuring tape she had on the side table tucked in the empty corner between the two couches, snatching it up along with a note book, glancing at the last measurement which was today and then taking yet another, it was barely fitting around her entirely by this point as she gave a smirk. "Gonna have to work this all off but a few more inches to my waist. You two would be in so much trouble if you were my own." Picking up her pen after setting the tape back on the table, jotting down the new measurement and loosing a yawn before cradling her belly in her hands. "I'm not mad though, if it's a -yawn- perk about where I work and being pregnant... it's... enjoying the indulging of such... pleasures~" Slowly laying on her side and nestling in for the night, a full belly and resting children within as eyes grew heavier until those golden hues closed for the evening, dreaming of more dishes from her childhood.
