I love photos of water in motion or pictures with lots of different textures. I was able to kneel down and get 4 in one shot with this picture just as the water was pulling back from the sand but a new little wave was moving in again.
The light reflecting off the water on the right side of the frame then the churning water in the middle with the smooth reflective wet sand and finally the dry landscape of the sand on the left.

I use a program called Lightroom. So ya there was some color and brightness and exposure tweaking being done to make it more then the original picture... I was trying to make the over all color more monochromatic so the two elements that stood out the most were the fire from the sun and the texture that was visible in the shot. White balance was pushed over to the yellow and tint was pushed in to the pink. I raised the exposure a little and added just a touch of fill light so the shadows wouldn't be so overpowering. I was going for almost a aged photo look but modern as the whole shot has this touch of gold almost that you still wouldn't find in any old picture. I still hope you like it. Thanks!
