Doodled this up while I was waiting for  vinz to finish playing Crackdown 2 so we can sleep. I'm so tired. =_= Took an hour for this.

Elfane lay eggs. :V They develop in the body until they are birthed at 6 months. They must then be taken care of and kept warm until they hatch. They are a bit about half the size of a human baby, since Elfane are already smaller than humans, plus the egg is a bit smaller than an Elfane baby.

Baby Elfane are like baby humans. They don't do much at all. Their ears are floppy and their tails are small.

Toddler Elfane begin developing their magic. They have very little control over it. It's not seen often. Toddler Elfane learn fast and can already run and jump. Not the most graceful, but they can escape danger usually if left alone.

Child Elfane have learned how to manipulate their magic at will, though, at times, they may accidentally conjure something up. By now they're very alert and inquisitive.

Teenage Adolescent Elfane are formidable opponents. Full of life and ready to test out the limits of their power. They can keep up with the adults now. They begin to develop "whiskers"(think Eastern dragon or catfish. Not cat whiskers) at age 35, which is age 25 equivalent to humans.

Adult Elfane are very strong, physically and magically. They're at their peak. They fly best at this age.

Elderly Elfane have little physical strength towards the end of their life cycle, but are highly intelligent and very powerful with magic. Their bodies usually show signs of wear and tear, and their fur gets longer. This example is a female's life cycle, and this is assuming she's reproduced, so she has breasts now.

When the Elfane die, their soul is preserved in a rose. Aetherian Elfane produce the blue rose, and Chiropterian Elfane produce purple. They glow. When these roses are in proximity to the collectors shrines, they will be reincarnated. A rose that has ascended to reincarnation will fade to gray and eventually wither and die. Thus the cycle begins once more. If the rose is not returned to a shrine within 5 years, it will begin to die and the soul dies with it.

I wont make another for males or Chiropterian because it's very similar.
