Don't worry, the only reason I know by heart is because my Mum would tell me the Aztec/Mayan "How the jaguar got his spots" legend alot.

i've never heard that before lol but my mom was always into the greek mythology so we got a whole lot of those books and not much of anything else as far as ledgends go

The gist is that a shaman was writing a note while Leopard and Jaguar were visiting, he spilt ink on his hands and whiped them off on the two, however, he whipped the ink from his thumbs on Jaguar, hence why he has an extra spot.
