I'd say I'm kicking off MerMay 2021 with this piece, but I imagine merfolk don't do much kicking, do they?
...Anyway, back in March my friend 
red-box, who was a big fan of my Deviltaur Crybaby pieces, wanted to see our favorite Devilhunk Akira Fudo as a merman, specifically doing something fun and lighthearted with his his li'l bro Taro because (and I'm paraphrasing a bit here) "Taro deserved better" (iyk, yk). However, anyone who's a Devilman fan will tell you that pretty much every character across the whole franchise deserved better. If The Little Mermaid taught me anything, though, it's that life under the sea is better than anything they've got up there, so I'm confident these two will have a much better time now that they've both got some fins—that is, as long as a certain blond boy never learns how to swim...
