what I basically do, is try and not put any lines where it will be just color and no ink, and I use a blue non-photo pencil so you could try that :3
I find that my art comes out a lot cleaner when I leave out some lines and let the one viewing it recreate those lines automatically with their brain because of shading or just common sense....if that makes sense at all.
